Splendide Royal Paris hotel

Raffaele de Mase and I share a common passion: Italian cuisine. 

His gastronomic restaurant “la Tosca” is located in the Splendide Royal hotel in Paris next to the Elysée and close by the Champs-Elysées. For the opening of an intimate wine bar “la Loggia” within this hotel, my friend Raffaele offered me to create illustrations of the bar menu.

I drew my inspiration from the origin of his restaurant:

  • The opera “Tosca”
  • Loge in reference to the name of the bar “la Loggia”
  • Details of the place as mirror, sculpture, lighting, and the colors red and gold
