Her work with henna represents sharing and connects women to each other.
With a meeting with Her Excellency Shatha Al Mulla, Undersecretary for the Heritage and Art Sector (Ministry of Culture and Youth of the United Arab Emirates) to discuss art in the Middle East and the richness of the Emirates’ heritages.
Second part of the trip in Dubai, on the advice of Her Excellency’s staff, I visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Abrahamic Family House.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi opened in 2017 and is the largest French cultural project abroad. This is the result of unprecedented cooperation between France and the United Arab Emirates. These cooperations have given birth to the world’s first museum in the Arab world. The success of the Abu Dhabi in the Louvre is based on three pillars: the spectacular building, the richness of its permanent collection, due to the promise of the Louvre and the French Museum, the quality of its temporary exhibition. I advise you to visit it.
The Abrahamic Family House includes a mosque, a church, a synagogue and a forum for learning and maintaining mutual understanding. It is a place to learn about the faiths and customs of all three religions. The modern and grandiose architecture is exceptional.

Avec le vernissage de l’exposition Hand in Hand” réalisé par Azar Khamissa.
Son travail autour du henné représente le partage et relie les femmes entre elles.
Avec une rencontre avec son excellence Shatha Al Mulla, sous-secrétaire pour le secteur du patrimoine et de l’art (Ministère de la culture et de la jeunesse des Emirats Arabes Unis) pour échanger sur l’art au Moyen-Orient et la richesse des patrimoines des Emirats.
Seconde partie du voyage, sur les conseils des équipes de son excellence, j’ai visité le Louvre Abu Dhabi et au Abrahamic Family House.
Le Louvre Abu Dhabi a ouvert ses portes en 2017 et est le plus grand projet culturel français à l’étranger. Ceci est le résultat d’une coopération sans précédent entre la France et les Émirats arabes unis. Ces coopérations ont donné naissance au premier musée mondial du monde arabe. Le succès de l’Abu Dhabi dans le Louvre est basé sur trois piliers: le bâtiment spectaculaire, la richesse de sa collection permanente, est due à la promesse du Louvre et du Musée français, la qualité de son exposition temporaire. Je vous conseille d’y faire un tour.
L’Abrahamic Family House comprend une mosquée, une église, une synagogue et un forum pour apprendre et entretenir la compréhension mutuelle. Ce lieu permet de se familiariser avec les fois, les coutumes des 3 religions. L’architecture moderne et grandiose est exceptionnelle.
