Early May, I organized in Paris a private exhibition called “Spring colors” for art collectors, artists and personalities in my studio in Paris. The expo brought together nearly 130 people, including art notable figures such as Eric Dupont, Varvara Volf, Philippe Charlot, Aline Putot, Jaydena de Martel, and Nicolas Patrzynski.
The three-day exhibition began with a press opening reception Thursday, May 11, before the studio opened by appointment from May 12 to 14.
The collection Spring colors, centered around the theme of Spring, is divided into four parts:
– the first series of canvas paintings focuses on the colors of the sky. There is a genuine pictorial work and a desire to highlight the different nuances that can tint the sky. Indeed, the sky is the first element that distinguishes the winter period. The yellow of the sun becomes warm, the night is no longer black, and pink in the clouds appears.
– the second series of paintings honors the spring flowers. It features bouquets of violets, hydrangeas, magnolias, and roses. By emphasizing the pattern and the colorful shades of these flowers, they symbolize the arrival of spring and the renewal of the natural cycle.
– the third series of paintings represents the warm and vibrant spirit of spring. The warmth of the sun’s rays on the skin, the buzzing of insects, the first blossoms, and the pollen. These paintings convey the implicit feeling of well-being that accompanies the first season of the year.
– finally, the fourth series of paintings expresses our relationship with the season. Two large canvases for portraits allow us to immerse ourselves in a representation of spring and question our relationship with the season, confront it, our feelings, and our impressions regarding it.
I set up a second exhibition room to present older paintings that use a unique technique, combining digital canvas and portraiture, as well as digitally projected canvases on a large screen.
Thank you to all the visitors, family, friends, collectors, photographers, artists, and members of the press who took the time to come and experience my art.
