On April 11, I took part in an enriching artistic event at the Galerie Médicis in Paris. On a day commemorating 60 years of friendship between France and China, the gallery was the setting for a lively conversation between several renowned artists, including Aline Putot-Toupry, Jaydena De Martel, Xu Ming, Pingpei Cai and Jean-François Zhou.
The event, co-organized by Air de Paris and Aline Putot-Toupry, was a moment of sharing and testifies to the importance of cultural collaboration between our two countries.
Before the vernissage of works by Aline and Bruno Toupry and Alexandre Taveau, we exchanged views on contemporary art and its relationship with nature. This discussion enabled us to explore the different perspectives and influences that shape our work.
I’m delighted to have been able to take part in this celebration of Franco-Chinese friendship , and to share my passion for art with such a diverse and committed community.
