Collaboration with Eddie Corps
On October 1st, 2025, I had the pleasure of collaborating with designer Eddie Corps for his Spring-Summer 2026 collection, presented at the town hall of Asnières-sur-Seine. Titled “A Breath of Edo“, this collection pays tribute to Japan during the Edo period while affirming a distinctly contemporary creative language.
At the heart of the runway show was a long white haori coat, which I hand-painted with acrylics, symbolizing a journey. Three women, a mountain, cherry blossoms, a temple, a wave inspired by Hokusai… these elements tell a timeless story, blending memory and imagination.
Surrounding this central piece, I also painted three accessories: a white parasol adorned with a golden tree, a fan with blue lotus motifs, and a solar fan rhythmically decorated with golden circles. These objects, worn alongside other silhouettes from the collection, extend the pictorial gesture while engaging in dialogue with the cuts and fabrics designed by Eddie.
Our collaboration grew naturally from a years-long friendship and a shared love for visual storytelling, fabrics steeped in memory, and Japanese aesthetics. Working together was seamless, joyful, and very free: I was able to experiment with new materials, test the act of painting on fabric, and adapt my artwork to a moving body.
The runway show, understated and vibrant, took place in a warm atmosphere, surrounded by artists, creators, models, and loyal friends. Top model Oliwia Lis, a close friend, wore the central piece – a powerful moment, echoing the journey we’ve shared.
This project allowed me to further expand my practice, blending rigor and spontaneity, and opened new horizons between art, fashion, and storytelling.
