In late March 2026, the association Instantanés Éternels made a lasting impression with two consecutive events: a contemporary art exhibition in Choisy-le-Roi and the inaugural Film-Debate Workshop in Cergy. Here is a look back at these moments of shared experience, highlighted by the works of Parisian artist Oriane Sossah.
An Exhibition Opening the Doors to Contemporary Art
On Sunday, March 22, 2026, 23 rue Rollin Régnier in Choisy-le-Roi hosted an exhibition designed as a bridge between artists and the public. From 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with free admission, visitors discovered the works of two painters from the Instantanés Éternels community: Divin Art and Oriane Sossah.
The exhibition space was meticulously arranged—featuring display racks, a white brick-style accent wall, and detailed description cards for each artwork. It attracted a diverse crowd, including curious teenagers, searching adults, and groups of seniors. Photographs capture this variety of perspectives, with everyone pausing before canvases that challenge the viewer and invite reflection.
The Works of Oriane Sossah: Painting from Within – Exhibition Catalogue
Oriane Sossah is a contemporary Parisian artist whose practice spans acrylic painting, digital art, and video. Her process always begins with emotion: she expresses first, then seeks to understand. This movement between intuition and consciousness lies at the heart of each of her canvases.
Several of her works were featured during these events — here is the exhibition catalogue.
Spring Leaves — Acrylic on canvas, 40 × 40 cm (2023)
Born during a spring of profound transition, this artwork is both an observation of the outside world and an emotional map. Oriane had just changed apartments and routines. From her window overlooking a garden, she watched the leaves emerge and the light shift. Spring Leaves translates this fragile moment of new beginnings—a slow, organic renewal that does not merely copy nature but restores its sensation.
Heart Blood — Acrylic on canvas, 20 × 20 cm (2023)
An intimate, almost pulse-driven painting, Heart Blood was created in the same creative surge as Spring Leaves. It speaks of the sensation of being moved, of being in motion, and of being part of the living world. It carries something visceral and warm, yet fragile. It was part of a triptych centered around light, matter, and the heart—a cycle embodying a spring that is both external and deeply internal.
Warm Sun — Acrylic on canvas, 25 × 18 cm (2023)
With Warm Sun, the gaze lifts toward the sky. The artwork belongs to a series of three canvases exploring luminous nuances and seasonal transitions. Painted just before an exhibition in May, it carries a simple joy: that of feeling the weather change and letting oneself be carried by a warmth that returns slowly but surely.
Shy Sunrise of Love — Acrylic on canvas, 25 × 18 cm (2023)
An extension of her exploration of the sky, Shy Sunrise of Love draws inspiration from Impressionist sunrises—those almost surreal nuances of pink, gold, and diffused light. The piece speaks of a delicate opening, a way of reconnecting with oneself, and allowing oneself to experience new connections and feelings once more. A nascent, hesitant love, like a sunrise that is already transforming everything.
Dans les yeux d’Alain / Alain me regarde (In Alain’s Eyes / Alain Looks at Me) — Acrylic on canvas, 40 × 50 cm (2022)
These two studies are part of a series of seven portraits created in 2022, initially intended for the Ukrainian Cultural Center. While the project was disrupted by the war, it carries a silent resistance: to keep creating, searching, and looking. At the center of these canvases is the gaze of Alain Delon, captured not for his likeness but for his energy and vibration. For Oriane Sossah, the gaze is what gives a portrait its full power.
Growing Recognition
Oriane Sossah’s journey is marked by several distinctions: the Student Creativity Prize (University of Angers, 2014, during an academic exchange in China), the 2023 Fine Arts Prize in partnership with the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, the 2024 Special Jury Prize for Arts and Culture, and the 2022 Young Talent Digital Painting Prize. In 2025, her collaboration with designer Eddie Corps for the SS26 couture collection extended her research into textiles and fashion.
Her work is not driven by suffering. It is guided by a profound desire to celebrate life.
The First Film-Debate Workshop: When the Audience Becomes the Actor
Two days after the exhibition, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the Instantanés Éternels association launched its very first Film-Debate Workshop at LabBoite, located at the Parvis de la Préfecture in Cergy (95), from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
The concept revives the spirit of old-school film clubs: watching together, feeling, and then daring to express what was felt. The program featured several short films by different directors—including one produced by the association itself—followed by a time for collective discussion and reflection.
The capacity was intentionally limited to a dozen people, which was a deliberate choice rather than a constraint. A small group ensures that every perspective matters, every feeling has its place, and every word contributes to building something greater: a cinema where the audience becomes an active participant.
The works of Divin Art and Oriane Sossah were also displayed in the LabBoite space, creating continuity between the two events—an exhibition that traveled from Choisy-le-Roi to Cergy, like a widening circle of influence.

Instantanés Éternels: A Cultural Vision Rooted in the Community
Behind these events is an association that has been working for several years to recreate collective spaces for discovery and dialogue. Instantanés Éternels believes that a vibrant culture is not built with silent spectators, but with voices that express themselves.
The project coordinator, Druvlyne, a pillar of the association since 2023, managed both the Choisy-le-Roi exhibition and the Cergy workshop in just a few days—a double mobilization that perfectly illustrates the energy and vision driving the collective.
And this is only the beginning. The next session of the Film-Debate Workshop is scheduled for April 2026—larger, better structured, and eventually offering multiple time slots so that everyone can find their place and, above all, their voice.
Coming Soon
