On August 11 and 26, I hosted a masterclass creativity on awakening artistic creativity at Soho House Paris.
It was the opportunity for me to come back on the rewarding work that shaped my life as an artist over the past year: creating a canvas every day for an entire year.
This endeavor sparked numerous inquiries from individuals, intrigued by my ability to find sufficient inspiration each day to produce a new work. Where does all this creativity come from?
This line of thought led me to offer this creativity masterclass to answer this question by presenting my approach. I aim at demonstrating that we are all capable of creating art, of finding inspiration and drawing from our emotions.
The workshop unfolded in two parts. Firstly, each member had the chance to introduce themselves briefly and explain how they typically express themselves in their art. This was followed by a moment of artistic creation, where each artist allowed their emotions to guide the creation of the work.
I thoroughly enjoyed this moment of sharing and connection with people who were attentive and committed. I want to extend special thanks to Soho House for allowing me to conduct this masterclass where I had the opportunity to forge some wonderful connexions.
